Mr. Sawyer holds degrees in Theology and Leadership and has served for twenty-eight years as Lead Pastor of Calvary Community Wesleyan Church in Johnson City, a suburb of Binghamton, NY. His theological education and church administration experience, as well as his pastoral experience, qualify him to serve as president of The Dream Community. Additionally, he serves as an executive with Greater Binghamton Prays (a community pastor’s organization), and recently as Vice-Chair on the NYPENN Franklin Graham Festival Executive Committee. His duties include attending board meetings, promoting THE DREAM COMMUNITY in the community through personal contacts, and being available to review and sign The Dream Community, Inc. documents.
Daniel Paoletti – Director and Treasurer of The Dream Community
Mr. Paoletti has accounting and business experience as an owner of two area businesses. He has experience serving in a number of capacities in his local church as well as various community organizations. His church related experience and his business accounting (tax specialty) background qualify him to serve as Treasurer of The Dream Community. His duties include attending board meetings, promoting THE DREAM COMMUNITY in his church and through personal contacts, and being available to review and sign The Dream Community, Inc. documents.
Arline Wales – Director and Secretary of The Dream Community
Mrs. Wales has been an educator and specialist in at risk young adults and served with Catholic Charities, Tioga office. Presently, she works as an Aging Benefits Specialist and HIICAP Counselor in the Department of the Aging. Mrs. Wales participation in various Christian and community organizations in the greater Binghamton area, her present work with Tioga Opportunities, INC and her extensive networking experience with members of the business community qualify her to serve as Secretary of The Dream Community. Her duties will include attending board meetings, promoting THE DREAM COMMUNITY in her church and through personal contacts, and being available to review and sign The Dream Community documents .
Matthew Sawyer – Director and Legal Counsel of the Dream Community
Mr. Sawyer graduated from Johnson City High School, attended SUNY Broome and Indiana Wesleyan University, and completed degrees from UMASS Boston and the University of Baltimore. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He served in the USMC Reserves and holds an honorable discharge from 7 years of service. He is a partner in a construction company in the Washington, DC area. Presently, Mr. Sawyer is an attorney with the McNamee Hosea Attorneys and Advisors in the Greenbelt section of Washington DC . Mr. Sawyer’s background in education, the military, business, and law qualify him to serve as a Director. His duties will include attending board meetings, promoting THE DREAM COMMUNITY, and being available to draft and review The Dream Community documents and provide legal counsel as required.
